When AI is writing more of what you read online, how do you know if the real estate advice you're getting actually applies to your situation in Denver?

There's a version of real estate advice being generated right now that's technically accurate, fluent, and completely disconnected from your actual situation. AI tools can produce a plausible answer to almost any question you type. What they can't do is notice what you didn't ask. They don't know that you're weighing whether to hold onto the house while your mother figures out her next move. They don't know that the floorplan you're describing has a use-of-space problem that's going to matter the moment you try to resell. They don't know that the contract language you're about to agree to has a gap in it. That's not a knock on the technology. It's just what it is. A tool that generates answers from patterns is not the same thing as a person who listens for what's underneath the question. The part of real estate that protects you isn't the information. It's the interpretation. Knowing what a contingency says is one thing. Knowing whether it's written in a way that actually holds up, and what happens if it doesn't, that's the conversation worth having. In Denver's market, the difference between a well-constructed contract and a sloppy one doesn't show up until something goes sideways. AI can help you get oriented. It can explain a process, define a term, give you a starting framework. But at the point where your money, your timeline, and your options are on the table, the question isn't whether the answer sounds right. It's whether the person behind it understands what you're actually trying to do. So when you're reading advice online and it feels almost right but not quite, that gap you're sensing is real.
